Directions

Step 1

Spray inside of 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place brisket in slow cooker (trim to fit, if necessary).

Step 2

Combine seasoning ingredients together and pour over brisket. Drizzle with oil and rub seasoning all over brisket. Then, completely cover brisket with beef broth.

Step 3

Cover brisket with lid and cook on low setting for 8-10 hours, or high setting for 4-5 hours.

Step 4

When brisket is tender, carefully transfer to a cutting board and slice into medium sized pieces. (Alternately, shred the brisket using two forks.)

Step 5

Optional: Transfer sliced brisket back to slow cooker and keep warm until ready to serve.

Step 6

Serve sliced brisket on sandwiches using Martin’s Rolls or Bread, such as this beef brisket and kielbasa sandwich with mac and cheese.
